Last week, on 21 May 2021, David Simmonds MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner joined Year 5 pupils at Cannon Lane Primary School in Pinner to witness a live session of the KickStart Money programme, delivered by video-link by a MyBnk expert trainer.

Mr Simmonds joined the year 5 class for their ‘My Choices’ session and watched pupils get to grips with the differences between ‘needs’ and ‘wants’ to understand the costs of living and learn the importance of budgeting when planning for their financial futures.

David Simmonds MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner said:

 Millions of people are falling into financial vulnerability due to the economic impacts of COVID-19, making building strong financial resilience at an early age more important than ever. I am proud to support KickStart Money and support its call on Government to ensure that every primary aged child receives a high quality and effective financial education.”
