James Murray, MP for Ealing North, joined Year 5 pupils at Stanhope Primary School in Greenford today to witness an award-winning financial education programme – the Kickstart Money initiative, delivered by the charity MyBnk.
Mr Murray joined the year 5 class for their ‘My Money’ session, the first of the three sessions delivered by the programme, and watched pupils get to grips with the importance of building positive money habits early in order to build stronger saving habits for later life.
James Murray, MP for Ealing North said:
“It was great to see the KickStart Money programme in action in my constituency at Stanhope Primary School today.
“Money management is a vital life skill and, with research suggesting that attitudes to money are formed as young as seven, it is great to see this important initiative helping to equip children with the necessary financial skills for adult life.”
